Revive Health · Case study 01
Virtual care platform overhaul with an AI-driven process
Revive helps self-insured employers save on healthcare. Members get urgent, primary, mental health and weight health care plus thousands of covered medications at zero cost. I came in to stand up a design practice, modernize the member experience and ship dozens of features across product, design and engineering.

The opportunity
No design process, an aged member experience, and a roadmap full of big bets. Opportunity aplenty.
As lead product designer I led a two-person team to research, test, design and ship the member-facing platform: a new front-door dashboard, upgraded mental and weight health programs, medication management with an in-house pharmacy layer, and a built-from-scratch AI assistant. The biggest challenge was dev capacity. So many features were left in prototype purgatory until we could ship.
Highlight 01
A full-platform prototype in Claude Design, in under two months
Goal
Prototype the complete, upgraded member experience to increase dev cycles, ship faster and double as a key (missing) sales tool.
What I did
Built an 8-section, 64-page interactive prototype, including future visions of the mental health and weight health overhauls and the new AI assistant.
Result
Launched three major initiatives and became the model for a new straight-to-development PDLC.

The silent walkthrough opens on the title “Integrated, whole person care” and tours the prototype in 11 labeled chapters:
- Member dashboard: a snapshot of upcoming appointments, Get care now and ongoing care.
- Ask Revive: the AI assistant opens as a side panel, right where the member is.
- Medications: My medications: current medications, refills and details at a glance.
- Medications: Is it covered?: browse or search a medication, check coverage and price, then add it.
- Medications: Transfer: move a prescription to the member’s pharmacy in one form.
- Mental health: care options, self-assessments and wellness resources.
- Mental health: Articles: readable, practical articles from the resource library.
- Weight health: New member: a program overview for members getting started.
- Weight health: Active member: a weekly check-in with weigh-in, progress toward four goals and current medication.
- Help & FAQs: browse by topic, search questions or contact support.
- Member profile: personal details, family, pharmacy and AI settings.
It closes on the Revive logo and the same title.

REVERB: an AI-driven product development lifecycle
I developed and led the rollout of a new way of working across product, design and engineering, from project genesis to post-launch learning, with AI built into each stage to increase output and shorten build time.

A top-to-bottom member experience overhaul for 5 million covered members
Section by section, I reworked the platform to be faster, more trustworthy and clearer: the front-door dashboard, care programs, medication management and the AI assistant.

A $10M RFP opportunity that opened a new market into major universities
I spearheaded the design and functionality behind Revive’s response to the Texas A&M University System RFP: a student services app for 200,000 users, and a market segment Revive had never pursued.
Result
Multiple stakeholders reached out to me directly to reproduce this design for dozens of other university opportunities.
